Beautiful spot especially in winter.

Super quiet, peaceful place. However, nothing to do.

Beautiful arboreal Forest with lots of rare bird species.

It's really fun living out here, except when it takes 30 minutes to get 7 miles down the road. Bird watchers, please stick to one side of the road! You block the road between my grandparents and I. It's so incredibly infuriating to have to stop because you don't have enough respect for the people that live out here to stay out of the road!

This is the place for birders. Great little visitor center with outhouse and knowledgeable staff. Snacks and gifts for sale. Nature trail at visitor center. Visitor center has easy to follow maps of the area. Some houses set up bird feeders for easy viewing. Other homes don't appreciate all the traffic, so you're requested to respect the "non-birder friendly" areas. On a quick winter February afternoon, we saw a Northern Hawk Owl, grouse, among others.
